ESN Tallinn invites you for an adventure!
Estonia is a country with long and beautiful coast and lots of islands. As it would be sin not to give you opportunity to see the shore from the sea (with some taste of adventure), ESN Tallinn is organizing kayaking trip to a small island of Aegna close to Tallinn on 12th September.
What: Kayaking trip to Aegna island
When: 12 September 1.30pm – 5.30pm
Where: Viimsi peninsula (organized bus transportation from the city!)
Price: 450eek (don't forget to pay during ESN Office Hours)
Places: maximum 30
Registration: here
This adventure will be approximately 4 hours long (3h back & forth + 1h stay on the island) and it would start from the beach on Viimsi peninsula. We organize a bus transportation to the peninsula from the city (registered participants will get the detailed information), a snack and hot drink on the island, and the transportation back to the city. You will have guidance for kayaking by professionals so you don't have to worry if you have no experience for kayaking! All included in the price!
Deadline for paying the registration fee is on Thursday, 9th September. You can pay for the adventure during ESN Office Hours (see from www.esn.ee/tallinn) in ESN Tallinn office at Tallinn University Silva building (City Center, Narva mnt 29) room S-121 and ESN TUT International Club office in TUT (Mustamäe, Ehitajate tee 5) block V room 102.
Aegna is a very unique place situated near Tallinn. Aegna's untouched nature and military objects date back to time before World War I when Tsar of Russia ordered his subordinates to build a sea defence system to protect St. Petersburg. Nowadays only a massive concreat building has survived both World Wars as for example the cannon towers were destroyed during World War I.
