It was an unprecedented fundraising campaign organised by the Erasmus Student Network. All ESN local sections and members, together with the international students all over the Europe are, starting from January 2009, raising funds through their regular and special activities. The money will be donated to UNICEF in order to support its projects in Bhutan.

ESN has, together with UNICEF The Netherlands, concluded a Memorandum of Understanding in which both parties show their awareness of the project and sincere support of the initiative.

The project ran from January to October 2009. During this period, events and activities were organised to collect money for children in need. We believe that joint forces of ESN members, international students and young people from all over Europe will make a substantial difference to the lives of these children.
