ESN Seabattle

Sea Battle is a party cruise between the cities of Stockholm and Tallinn. For this event more than 1500 exchange students currently studying in Estonia, Finland, Sweden and Latvia will join in.

Sea Battle last year took  place from 16 – 18 November 2009. From Tallinn we took an afternoon ferry together with Finnish students to Stockholm. We spent a day in Stockholm and the Swedish ESN members and exchange students met us and we  cruised back to Tallinn, where the whole ship was  be only for you, the Erasmus students!!

This semester Sea Battle will take place 11-13 April 2010!

--------------

Following comment of an exchange student after Seabattle:

"The SeaBattle was an incredible experience, worth to go for everyone! I was still feeling the waves of the "sea" after coming back home and sleeping for six hours...But earth shaking is not beacuse of alcohol...no come on....

Once settled down the stuff in the cabin the next step is exploring the ship. Too many faces to remember and too many glasses to hold at the same time. I mean the coolest part is that you truly feel free to say whatever you want to introduce yourself to the crews in the corridors....there's no barriers of cultures anymore :)...And what I really appreciated is that nobody was taking it seriously and I did not see any arguments or fights during all the trip, although alcohol as we all know makes everything more tolerable.. Everything was taking place in a mad wild party atmosphere, but sunny and respectful at the same time: the most enjoyable atmosphere. A kind of nowadays Woodstock :)...They call it “the love boat” so everybody is supposed to find at least seven partners per night and to spend no more than 5 minutes to introduce each other, flirting and concluding...You'll get a penalty if you take more time to do all these operations...That's why you go to bed exhausted and the memories of the touristic round in Stockholm (the day after) is just a little frame of a comfortable bar sofa that you're pretty sure is located in the Danish...eh pardon...Swedish capital. Anyway I was told once that Stockholm is a very nice city.

The second night in the ship you would like to take it more easy but as you hear the shouts coming from the party next door you are invaded by partying full spirit again...there's no way to escape from that...

I personally liked the clubs there but they were too much crowded of people...I just loved entering in strangers cabins inventing new stories or pretending that the security guards were approaching so that we could hide our drinks there...thankfully we were always very welcomed since socializing is the most of SeaBattle :) and nights never end, never end...We're all gonna miss student life guys...

Now I'm still alive but, who knows, next time you might not be so lucky!!
Ciao ciao!!! Kocham Polska!!
And ma armastan Eestit obviously :) "
